> As a publisher and editor in the watch industry for over three decades, I've pretty much seen it all, including the rise of the Luminox brand when it launched, and watched as it rose to become a global brand. Over the years I had numerous meetings with the founder and former owner of the brand, Barry Cohen, and found him to be dedicated to building the tritium lume category in watches. He eventually sold his shares in Luminox and delved into other watch types. When he launched the new ProTek line with tritium illumination I was particularly interested to see what his new brand was all about. Clearly he has upped the ante with ProTek and is now once again a leader in tritium enhanced watches at this price point. ProTek offers a great value argument and you get a lot of watch for the money. The design and build quality are superb and I have not seen an instrument style watch with tritium that can beat the ProTek cost/quality ratio. Great designs in instrument style watches enhanced with tritium tube illumination that glow without needing to be exposed to light. You will be hard pressed to find a better quality watch for the price. - Gary G., Monroe, CT (former Publisher and Editor of International Watch Magazine)
> ProTek has the best value tritium watches on the market today, and has outstanding build quality. - Ripley Sellers (certified watchmaker at top USA watch blog), A Blog To Watch
> I continue to follow (and appreciate) what you’re doing. The original Field Watch is a solid offering. Brushed titanium case is spot on and the tritium tube lume is what you do best. - David Houston., Londonderry, NH, Former watch buyer (and a true watch aficionado) Herrington Catalog
> I have been a fan of tritium illumination for a while now and I admit I am quite spoiled by it. The Luminox I have is still working great but it is very much a tool watch. I have been on the lookout for a thinner watch that could be dressed up a bit. The PROTEK Field that I purchased fills that void and more. With T100 illumination the time can be read under any lighting conditions and see the time without the need for reading glasses. The rest of the package is just as appealing. The chapter ring is notched out just a bit for the tubes and that adds visual interest. The case is nicely finished and very thin. The strap with the roller buckle is a nice touch. The watch is so lightweight and comfortable you hardly know it's on your wrist. As a whole, this is a watch that can go from the outdoors to the indoors with ease and you don't have to fight to get it under your shirt sleeve. For what you get, this is a tremendous value. If you're looking for a thin watch that can be dressed up or down, be easily read under any circumstance, and looks great while doing so, then a Protek field series should be on your radar. - John H., Northeast Ohio
> I recently purchased the PROTEK TITANIUM FIELD SERIES 3000 watch because I needed a more subdued self-illuminating solution while traveling abroad. The watch face is very well laid out and the indicators are spaced out so that it doesn’t appear cluttered or “busy” as is the case with some dive watches. The real value of this watch shows once the lights are off. I have poor eyesight, sadly without glasses and in low light everything is fuzzy, getting old has its hardships. The multi-colored indicators (Orange-Green-Blue) allow me to figure out what time it is without my glasses on and get on with my day. Lastly, the 3 colored tritium indicators are stunning to look at in the dark. Its like having a piece of artwork on your wrist. I highly recommend this piece. - John K., Defensive Cyberspace Operations, Cybersecurity Infrastructure Consultant, US Navy, New York, NY.
> I’m lovin' my new Protek field watch! It's such an elegant and clean design, really a thing of beauty. The watch is both stylish and utilitarian. I'm loving it! - Dean Karnazes, Kentfield, CA
> I don't mean to sound gushing in my comment about ProTek, but it's the truth. After your experience with Luminox you could have packed it in, or done something else. Your story shows a tenacious spirit. You went back on the same horse and corrected the things that didn’t work the first time, and created a superior product along the way. I tell your story whenever someone will listen. I wish you enormous success with your ProTek adventure. I fully expect it to take hold, and you will gain many customers who recognize quality over marketing glitz! You may use anything you’d like from my comments or your website or social media. What I’m saying is true and I stand behind it. When given the opportunity I will absolutely support you and ProTek! Have a great day my friend! - Tim Oliver, Cedar Lake, IN
Below are some reviews that came in from officers of the Oakland California Police Dept. They asked that we not use their last names for their safety reasons and of course we comply with their request.
> As a child, I was given a Luminox Navy seal watch which I still own to this day although I no longer wear it. I have now worked at Oakland PD for the past several years. I have personally known Barry as one of the Luminox founders and repeatedly crossed paths with him over the years. I discovered that Barry created the ProTek watch brand and I now know it to be a superior quality brand watch. I wore the Protek watch over several months and I know that it can take a beating and keep on ticking. Most watches I have owned including the Luminox have straps that eventually crack or fail. The strap and excess band keepers on the Protek watch are incredibly durable and are superior to any other brands I have worn. Barry showed me his ProTek’s collection and we ordered a watch made just for our police dept with our logo on the watches. Everyone (including me) was incredibly satisfied with the end results, especially the obvious quality of these timepieces, their look, the glowing tritium and custom artwork. I was particularly impressed with the design, manufacturing process, beauty and quality of the watch. I wear my custom Protek watch every day as do many men and women that got one. Nobody had anything negative to say about the watch. I have full trust and confidence in the Protek team knowing they stand for quality. I look forward to future products. – Trevor, Oakland, CA Police Dept.
> I do not have anything negative to say about my ProTek watch. It's cool. It's my new favorite watch. I like the look. Years ago, 20 plus, someone sold OPD watches and they were kinda dumb looking. They were too flat and the OPD logo didn’t look very well. These are great! I like the weight of the watch, it is a good size on my wrist. The actual watch band is cool. It’s a good watch. – RICH (retired OPD)
> So far, I've enjoyed the ProTek watch very much. Great glow and functionality. Appears high quality. My only concern is maybe the durability of the resin watch band as I've had similar ones degrade over time. But time will tell. Thanks! – JQ
> Looks great, works as described. No issues at all. - SE
> I hope all is going well with you and the rest of Oakland finest. I am a watch person and have enjoyed and been very proud when I wear my ProTek OPD watch. It’s a great piece to have in my collection. - Ralph
> Cool watch with a nice glow. Thanks for putting this ProTek order together! – Chris
> I really like my ProTek watch. One guy said the OPD emblem was too small, but I’m fine with it. - James (retired)
> Had no problems at all with this ProTek watch. I bought it for one of my kids – Chuck
> My ProTek watch is totally awesome!! Works great, comfortable, and the illumination is awesome! - OPD Retired Sgt
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
> I recently purchased a Protek 3001, and Really quite like it. It's great to see Mr.Cohen getting back into the industry that has become inundated by tons of newcomers flooding the market with junk. This field has NAILED it, spec & price wise. And I've tried and pursued them all. Much obliged. - Ali Fatemi, Texas
> I already backed ProTek on Kickstarter and have the other 4 dial colors of the field watches. I was hoping to complete the set with the 3004 beige dial. I am a fan and do love wearing these watches. I just like the lightweight and simple look of the field watch. The strap is very comfortable, and the way the night lume blazes is just amazing, and the design is great. Your other watches look amazing too. - Thomas E., Lucerne, Switzerland
> I conduct reviews and tests on EDC items. The PT2001 watch was bought and tested in the following realms: I tested submerging her in pool water, in the dust, in oil while working on a car. I probably hit the thing against multiple surfaces during this test. Let me tell you. This is 100% my favourite watch of all time. It holds up. The tritium glows perfectly in the dark, borderline glows at sunset and rise. I've taken it on patrols with me, in the rain, and it still looks great. My favourite features is its capacity to maintain accurate time, and the amphibious leather. This leather retains its form and doesn't get scrunchy or smell weird when wet. I thought maybe the chlorine in the pool I took it to might wear off however this leather strap is treated, but it didn't touch it. The watch still looks as new despite my clumsy efforts.
I love how this watch looks formal enough to wear in a suit and still get compliments for wearing it. Despite this, it is 100% a proper, 200m rated dive watch, with tritium glow face. This watch is the kind of watch James Bond would wear (sans laser), and is absolutely the kind of watch The Adventurous Ladd would endorse adorning your wrist if you fancy yourself an Adventurous gent (or lady).
Good stuff. My new favourite watch! You’ve earned another fan of your watches. This is the best watch I’ve ever owned. Seriously, it's perfection! - Jess Ladd, Olympia, Washington State (Product Reviewer on Youtube covering EDC gear)
> I haven't taken this ProTek off since the day I got it!! I’m telling those I know about this brand and will continue to do so. Much better build quality than the Luminox watches you used to make. - John Ferris, New York
> Protek watches are excellent. The T100 trit tubes onthe field models are WAY brighter than the T25 trit tubes used in most other tritium watches. The "brick" style trits used in the Protec field watch are CRAZY bright for sure. I'm so thankful you're bringing more tritium watches onboard. Cheers! The field is awesome and a thing of beauty. I wouldn't have expected that from a tactical watch brand. It's crazy how it's so thin even with the large tubes. Don’t see enough tritium watches in the “classy 3-hand everyday metal watch” format. - Jim T, Denver, CO> Hello ProTek, The combination of the Field series with the Titanium Case and Tritium illumination is perfect! - Matt W.
> I like watches a lot. I probably have 100 of them, but I really love how this Field watch glows in the dark with those colors. That’s what made me want to get this one. I’ve already told lots of people about it. I'm really enjoying this watch. - Aaron L., Advance, MO
> I love the ProTek Field watch I bought. I love tritium and your watch was the first I saw in KS (or anywhere else at the time). Tritium in Europe is kind of banned. Tritium was the first reason I was interested in your former KS. I really loved the field watch and I wanted a more resilient watch than an automatic watch for my "shooting range days. In fact, I am so happy with my first Protek I am already buying another one, the USMC watch, to add to my collection. Thank you for making such great watches! - Olivier S., Arlon, Belgium
> I was in search of a good tritium lumed watch and I didn’t want to go with the usual brands. I looked around on YouTube and noticed a couple interviews you had done talking about Protek Watches, watched them and was very intrigued. I've purchased many Luminox watches in the past, and still own the first one I purchased around 1998. I was looking around on a website called Bladeforums and this 3000 field popped up for sale, so I bought it. I will definitely be purchasing more watches from Protek. This Protek 3000 has become far and away my favorite watch. I have watches from Omega to Casio G Shocks, and this watch has replaced those. The build quality on this watch is phenomenal, and I’m a pretty picky guy when it comes to watches. So, thanks for making something a little different that is better and stands out from the rest of the brands out there. Keep up the great work. I am a strong supporter of what you are doing. - Gary A, Murfreesboro, TN
> Received the watches. I love them! Beautiful work. Exactly the kinds of watches I've been looking for ever since my old Luminoxes finally wore out beyond repair. I especially love the field watch. I'll wear them with pride. - Glen E., Boise, ID
> The Protek Series 3000 is a great tritium watch. I have over 30 watches, including 3 Protek, and the Protek brand is one of my favorites. This particular model is great for nice casual or more formal occasions with the leather strap and SS case. This watch uses tritium tubes at 1-12, and these are bigger on this Protek model than others. The results are a blank square hour marker in the daytime and cool large squares of color at night. You still have the tritium function but with a very sleek and attractive form. Get one - you won't regret it. - Rob S., Fort Collins, CO
> ProTek is a great watch! ProTek is a no nonsense Brand of over built watches that functions flawlessly in all conditions – they are gear watches that can handle whatever you throw at them. Top quality components with more than adequate water resistance. ProTek has water resistance leather straps, and this speaks volumes - the O-rings/gaskets are a major plus. Did I mention These watches are first responder grade! - Jean-Pierre D., Yorktown Heights, NY
> I offer you my unbiased personal observations after acquiring a ProTek Field watch. I can't wait for it to get dark so I can enjoy the tritium tube light show in all its glory. I find myself showing it off, like a little kid, to people I barely know. I can tell if they are "watch people" or not. If they are "watch people," they'll immediately let me know how cool it is and ask me about the brand and where they can buy it. I honestly wasn't a huge fan of titanium watches before I owned this. I like big, chunky things and saw no real benefit to making watches lighter, at least not for me. But, this just works. All of the parts (the strap, watch head, and tritium tubes) work together to make a unique timepiece that is more than the sum of its parts. It's special!! If you like the pictures, you'll like them better in real life. - GuyMcC, Deland FL
> My Rolex Submariner has remained in my drawer since I received my new Protek watch. I wear it 24/7 and am more than pleased with it. It is attractive, functional and I particularly like the bright illumination. I have received several compliments from friends as well. Excellent product. -Robert S., Chairman, Smith & Wesson
> I looked into who was selling tritium tube watches and your name came up as the founder of Luminox. I watched videos and read articles about you and the other watch companies you have started and that led me to Protek. I have an active life and need something durable, comfortable, and I need to tell time in the dark. Never been a leather band guy because it seems they all fall apart or get brittle. After watching a video on the Protek diver with a leather band, and a great leather band at that, I had to try one. And it is as great as you say. As soon as it came in, I put it on and got the band wet. It formed to my wrist; it has been great. You have a customer for life. The titanium field watch T100 tritium tubes are beautiful. The band is soft and flexible yet rugged. It has been worn constantly, in and out of the water, and it only seems to fit better and get softer. The dial is clear, the time is accurate, and the fit and finish is perfect. The second hand is not off and strikes right on the markers. The tritium lights up the hour markers and the hands so I can easily tell time in the dark ALL NIGHT. If you are looking for a capable and elegant watch where you can always tell the time, look no further. Thank you again, for building such great watches. - Jameon P., Rochester, MN
> The ProTek Field series watch is a well-built, robust, reliable and quality titanium field watch; a watch that may very well live on my wrist for a while. I have a feeling this ProTek Titanium Field is going to experience more time at the range or with my kids in the yard versus sitting in a watch box...as any proper field watch should! - Riste S., Watchovski Watch Reviews, California Baptist University
> I received the Protek watch today -- nice work on this! I think it is your best work ever. The build quality punches well above the price point. The strap is better than anything I remember from Luminox. The bezel action is crisp and tight, and the color complimenting crown is a very nice touch. It wears well on the wrist. I’m really glad to have a ProTek to remind me of you and the days gone by when we worked together for years. I even put the ProTek under the loop and I’m highly impressed! The case is first rate and the dial is printed perfectly, couldn’t find one flaw. I think using a Miyota movement was a wise choice. Watch guys know where movement/dial compromises happen. I’ve worn my ProTek all week and I’m very happy. The watch is light yet solid. You are a solid dude and have created a great new brand. You’ve made a solid watch - congrats buddy! I wish you nothing but the best with the ProTek brand. - David H., Londonderry, NH, Former watch buyer (and a true watch aficionado) Herrington Catalog
> I have a tritium dive watch I have been wearing for a couple years. After using a watch with Tritium tubes, it's hard to look at other watches. After doing some research, ProTek appeared. I ordered the PT2005 Diver. It is an elegant and very capable watch. It hasn't left my wrist. Thank you for building such a great watch. Next, I ordered your steel dive automatic 2207BR (with the ice blue dial) because I have always loved Steel bracelets and was excited to get one of your automatics. I would love to send you a review of the watch.
I have owned a lot of watches for formal occasions and being almost 50 I remember before the wrist phone boom. But most analog watches fail in the dark, I mean Timex had indiglo and there is lume, but nothing that works automatically, hands free, all night. A couple years ago I had an apple watch, an apple phone and felt over connected. Couldn't really concentrate on a task because my watch was always vibrating. So, the choice was made to ditch the apple watch and go "old school." I work at the hospital and can be on all hours of the day or night, and I need to know the time. Most watch luminescence is fair early on but fades fast. So, the hunt was on. As far as finding Protek and purchasing the PT2005 diver from your website, that was a process.
I found a Luminox and bought a dive watch. The tritium tubes were a game changer, and I loved seeing at night, but the watch was just ok; I wanted something a little different. Once switching to tritium, that was the gold standard. I looked into who was selling tritium tube watches. There are a few brands. Your name came up as the founder of Luminox. I watched videos and read articles about you and the other watch companies you have started and that led me to Protek.
I have 3 boys, and am a busy guy with an active life. I need something durable, comfortable, and I need to tell time in the dark. I also really like the different lume colors on the PT2005.
You have a customer for life, and I will probably end up buying the titanium field watch. I can't even imagine T100 tritium tubes, it has to be beautiful. Once you go tritium, I'm not sure there is anything else that compares. Below is my written review on the PT2005 Dive watch.
"The ProTek Steel Dive PT2005 is one of the nicest, well put together watches I have ever owned. If you are looking for a capable and elegant watch where you can always tell the time, look no further."
Thank you again, for building such great watches. - Jameon Petersen, Rochester, MN
> Got the Automatic USMC watch yesterday. The watch is on my wrist now and I ..... looooove it! The tan dial looks so fantastic and the date is big and great to read. And the watch itself is so lightweight. It's the best watch I've ever had in my life. I really hope the automatic clockwork will drive reasonably precise.
I send you a photo of the watch on my wrist. Barry, you made me the luckiest man on the planet with this perfect watch. I’m loving ProTek! - Mike Ruhland, Durrenasch, Switzerland
> I bought my ProTek #1004O watch about six months ago and love it! Start with look and feel. The whole aesthetic design of the watch is beautiful. The watch face is extremely clean—all the information you want and nothing more. The hour numbers are a crisp white against a jet black face. A circular orange accent around the edge of the face perfectly complements the orange rubber watch band and the orange rubber around the crown.
Look at the face under magnification and it continues to impress. The hour, minute, and second hands are tastefully proportioned. And, of course, all hands and hour marks emit the coolest green glow in dark settings. A small but great touch — the marker above the 12 glows orange, allowing you to orient the watch in pitch black darkness.
The carbon case has an understated matte finish. It combines a very light weight with a rugged look. The bezel clicks securely when rotated—no play at all. The crown unscrews and screws easily, thanks in part to the rubber rim—very easy to adjust time and date. The sapphire crystal is a beauty. The steel back with a well designed logo is also first rate.
I own a $3,000 Tag quartz. The ProTek movement is actually better at keeping the second hand increments equal and consistent. And by the way, the ProTek keeps perfect time.
I have to talk about the wristband. It has a very fine pebble grain to it that is pleasant to the touch and comfortable on the wrist. The logo appears again on the black buckle. I own an Omega Seamaster. The OEM rubber wristband on that watch (which alone costs about as much as my ProTek) was decidedly inferior to the ProTek. I wear my ProTek about 70% of the time now, so I am taking it on and off a lot. Yet the band shows zero signs of wear or cracking where it gets stressed. My Omega band died in under a year. I replaced it with a steel band.
Another intangible—everything about this watch is perfectly proportioned. And it’s just plain comfortable on my wrist. A very small quibble —the date square is sometimes a little small for my aging eyes.
I also own a Luminox at the same price point. The ProTek is SO much better in every way, it just astounds me. Had I paid double for my ProTek, I would be a very satisfied customer. When the wider world discovers this watch, I would expect (and even want) it to carry at least a 50% higher price than it does today.
My final watch is a Sonos automatic, and I love it. It is the only watch I own that compares to the ProTek in quality. (At about six times the price; granted, with a fine automatic movement.)
Bottom line: this ProTek is an amazing watch and an incredible value. I will certainly own more than one in due time. - Don G., Investment Advisor, Los Gatos, CA
> As an owner of 3 Luminox watches I'm glad to see something "new" in the tactical watch world. Especially your Miyota 2S60 with 10-years battery life is way better for a tactical watch then the normal Ronda 515 that Luminox uses normally. ProTek also uses a movement with a 10-year battery. Luminox and Co usually only use watch movements with a 2-year battery. That was actually the main reason why I ordered the ProTek. And I'm very happy.
I’m a fan of tritium gas lights. I bought my first Traser watch 20 years ago. This was followed by 3 models from Luminox. Now I bought my first ProTek and I already know it won't be the last! I ordered the PT1016D USMC and the fast delivery really surprised me. The watch looks fantastic and is excellently made. The diving ring (bezel) wobbled on two of my Luminox models. Here at ProTek everything is rock solid with no play at all!
I also just took another look at your automatic watches (they have a white date display) and looked up the "TMI NH35 Movement" movement on the Internet. The movement is apparently considered the “work horse” among watch movements and is said to run smoothly for up to 25 years. Do I seriously have to buy another ProTek automatic now? I really like the sand-colored dial with the diamond plate structure of the PT1216. anyway. For the last two years I dismantled my old Toyota RAV4 and repainted it in a sand color. I did the interior headliner, door panels and seats in Multicam. I love sand colors. My shoes are Lowa combat boots in coyote, my jacket is sand-colored. My pants for free time are multicam, and for work they are sand or olive green, so this desert dial color will be great with all this.
So far I have avoided automatic watches because they are always quite heavy. Usually over 100 grams. ProTek also has this design model with an automatic movement and it only weighs 85 grams. I will also be ordering the model PT1216 USMC Automatic very soon and I am looking forward to my first automatic watch. Thank you Barry for creating this great brand.
Your biggest fan from Switzerland! - Mike Ruhland, Dürrenäsch, Switzerland
> Bravo! Just got the ProTek Automatics I ordered and they are really nice. Great size and I love the steel plate texture on the dial. Comfortable with a bit more weight than the quartz model I got, and much more comfortable than the old Luminox watches I had. Build quality outpunches the competition in this price category. Wish you tremendous success with this. This watch is really, really good! Great job on this! This is honestly my favorite summer watch. I've been wearing it on weekends and it's perfect for that. Lightweight and comfortable. The strap is great for hot days. I've banged it around and you'd never know it. The watch guy in me loves the texture on the strap & dial. The bezel action is crisp and precise. The dots on the 5 minute markings make setting the bezel easy. The movement is keeping great time for being mass produced. Illumination is as expected …. Excellent! The lugs make the watch wearable for most. The case is thick, but I'm not sure how you can remedy that. Automatic movement, dive bezel and tritium tubes - I get it. I love this watch! - David Houston, Londonderry, N.H. (former Herrington buyer and genuine watch aficionado)
> PROTEK Series 2000 “Best Freaking Watch” “Crazy Lum!!” Unique light blue dial tailored to fit formal attire as well as lifestyle wear. Very wearable and durable watch built with a reliable movement that never fails to keep time precise. My protek watch is an automatic and it sweeps quick and effortlessly. Overall, a solid watch that is amazing for an array of activities being an avid swimmer and diver the Protek series 2200 is my go to watch for swimming in any setting ocean or in a lap pool racing against the clock. I love this watch and applaud the craftsmanship. - Bryce Beam, Citibank Executive, Mill Valley, CA
> I can't thank you enough for taking the time out of your busy schedule to call me and email me personally. I can't tell you how much that says about your company and your products. When I searched online for a good tritium watch, your brand came as the 3rd entry down the search page (Bing). I clicked the link to your site and I thought to myself, this sounds just like what I am looking for... So, after checking the ProTek site over several days (the model I wanted was out of stock) I finally sent you an email request and you responded. After we spoke, I immediately ordered my new ProTek.
What a fantastic decision I made! Right out of the box you could just feel the difference between the Luminox and the ProTek. I do not wish to bash your former company sir, but I must say the difference is very noticeable. The ProTek feels heavier in the hand. The craftsmanship is impeccable and the watch all the way around seems to be of a much higher quality. The true test however came when it finally got dark. What an IMPRESSIVE watch you have created! Seriously. This watch is beautiful at night and I can't stop looking at it. The illumination is truly amazing. I can now see my watch in the middle of the night without fumbling and trying to find my reading glasses!
I can't thank you enough for this. It was probably the biggest factor in looking for a new watch (Tactical) that I had when I started my search, and a feature I think you should highlight in your advertising more. If you're an older military/LE guy like me that now requires "readers" this IS the watch you need!! I can read it day or night without reading glasses on. So damn awesome!
My hats off to you and all of your staff Barry. I love my new ProTek and I plan to add at least one more here very soon. What a great watch. I can't say enough good things about it. You've made a new loyal customer sir and before I finish, I also wanted to thank you for the military/LE discount. Made the decision to buy a ProTek even smarter. THANK YOU - Lt. Ty Morgan (Retired), Albuquerque Police Dept., Albuquerque, N.M., US Army Veteran
> I received my ProTek watch – thank you.
What I like:
The dial design, the case shape and construction and the caseback are really top notch. Very, very nice indeed.
The best bezel action I ever found on a watch regardless of the price tag (and please note that during the years I owned three Submariners, half a dozen Citizen diver's and almost every diver's watch Seiko ever released (6105 - 6309 - 7002 - Monster - Samurai - three different Tunas - a MM300 and so on).
The legibility is great. The sapphire crystal is very clean. The second hand hits all the markers almost perfectly, something so rare these days of robotic assembly lines.
The crown is easy to operate, hopefully the rubber ring won't break. The finishing of the rubber strap is perfect and even the signed buckle is very nice. In short, the watch speaks quality all around.
Bonus: what I liked the most:
The service provided by you and by your collaborators here in Europe was really top notch, never experienced anything like that. A+++
- Fabio C., Como Italy
> Received the watch yesterday. It’s lovely. Thanks for all your help in following through for the delivery. Much appreciated. - Sammeer S., Malaysia
> My watch arrived a few minutes ago and I'm already wearing it. It is a real beauty! My wife is not a watch person, but when she saw my watch, she said it was a good looking watch. She then said, do they make a ladies version? That is quite a compliment from my wife, who considers watches a cumbersome, but necessary tool. - Toby Hayes, (career law enforcement police officer), North Carolina
> I picked up my on January 20 2023. For the next 6 weeks it never left my wrist, primarily because I was so busy with the works contractor. After that it went into rotation with other watches some of which are self-correcting via GPS or radio signal. Since collecting my Protek 1000 has consistently "lost" around 5 seconds per month which is remarkable time keeping in my opinion. The case is top class and the strap is comfortable. This is an excellent product of which you can be rightly proud. - John Sekula, Hong Kong
> I received the watch and not only do I like it very much but I have received many compliments when I wear it. I’m considering adding the field watch to my collection now as well. - Michael Aubin, Rhode Island
> The big tritium tubes on the field watch are awesome! I have a dozen different tritium watches from several different brands, some with T100 tritium, but this is my first with the big flat tubes. I also like the blue, green and orange together. I might pick up the field in black at some point. I hope the brand continues to grow and I'm looking forward to future models. - Matt M., Colonial Beach, Virginia
> I’ve had my Protek 2002 gunmetal for a few weeks and it has been great! I love it! Thanks - Zack P.
> I spoke to you a few weeks ago about your watches and bought a USMC watch as soon as we hung up. I like it so much I ordered a Dive Series 1004. Thanks for being back, making high quality, durable watches! Now I have my eyes on the Dive Series 2003 as my next purchase … lol. Thanks again. - Scott C, Ocean Springs, MS
> I am very happy with the ProTek Field watch I bought. I usually buy automatic watches, but I love tritium and your watch was the first I saw in KS (or anywhere else at the time). Tritium in Europe is kind of banned. I love guns and shooting (Yes it does exist in Europe) and even tritium sights are very difficult to get. So tritium was the first reason I was interested in your former KS at first. Now I really loved the field watch concept and I wanted a more resilient watch than an automatic watch for my "shooting range days. In fact, I am so happy with my first Protek I am already buying another one, the USMC watch, to add to my collection. Thank you for making such great watches!" - Olivier S., Arlon, Belgium
> I'd like to share some pictures of my new daily driver. I always wanted a tritium watch with a more casual look. This is it! The design and the legibility 24/7 is fantastic. The leather strap feels very good too. I would have preferred an automatic movement, but at the price point, I can't complain. - Fredy S. Biberstein, Switzerland
> I just received my Series 1000 USMC ProTek Watch and I AM THRILLED. I purchased the all-black model thinking it would be a great Valentine’s Gift for my guy, but I loved it so much I decided to keep it for myself. It’s a perfect everyday watch for me: lightweight, comfortable on my wrist, and good looking. I don’t even know I’m wearing it. The quality is excellent and I know I will have it for many years to come. I highly recommend this watch for women as well as men. You cannot go wrong with a ProTek watch. - Stacy S, Huntington Beach, CA
> I received my watch on Friday. I would like to compliment you on the quality and brightness. Absolutely superb watch.
You and your team did a great job with these watches. It's the second one I've bought from you. My girlfriend, who usually tries to reduce my passion for watches, also really liked the last one :)
I'm only sorry my first note to you did not express a more detailed comment, given the perceived quality and wearability which is at the highest levels.
I also really appreciated the strap of the last watch, which I usually replace, because it is not only comfortable but very beautiful, with that porous effect, never seen before!
I am proudly wearing your creation! It always looks stunning on the wrist, whether in elegant of sporty clothes. Thanks again. A hug.
Please include me in your newsletter, because I have seen another model on your website, which I really like.
As an enthusiast, I hope you continue on this path. And if you were to come to Italy, I would be happy to meet you. - Piergiorgio
> I recently picked up your Dive series 1003 and really like it! The quality is phenomenal! I would love to be added to your email list for new upcoming watch updates. I am excited to see the new steel dive versions you have coming out! The steel dive watch with blue face and brown leather strap of your current line is currently out of stock but that one is great looking as well. Once the automatics come out, I would definitely be picking one up! I really like your designs and blue is my color. Regarding the current dive 1003 that I own, the more I look at it I am blown away by your attention to the small details! The pointed watch hands, shield logo and stainless steel screw down back plate engraving is great. The different angles to the watch case and band are great touches. You even put groves in the band to help with sweat and grip. Most brands don’t spend this much effort on the little details but your brand blows everything else out of the water. Thanks again and I look forward to hear more about your new upcoming watches! - Jesse O., Hawthorne, NJ
